Chris is renowned for his virtuosity and a playing style that transcends genre.
His ability to play both rock and jazz with conviction is the catalyst for his diverse performance history. After having played the guitar for only three years, he was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School at age 15. Chris went on to the Victorian College of the Arts where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music Performance (Improvisation) degree in 2001.
Before graduating, Chris had already begun a professional music career playing all over Australia in jazz clubs & bars, the professional music theatre scene (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), The Melbourne Jazz Festival, The Melbourne Guitar Show and with big bands, acid jazz, funk & R&B groups, as well as many cover bands, tribute acts and corporate bands. Despite the global pandemic, Chris still continues to be active in the Melbourne music scene as the regular guitarist for John Foreman’s Aussie Pops Orchestra whilst currently recording his 2nd solo album at his home studio.
